Dev Diaries #3 - Pickle Post

I need to make a habit of doing this more often. Progress has still continued at an incredible pace. I'm finishing up a considerable portion of a new map. When it comes to level design, the process starts with 'blocking out' the map. Literally using plain white blocks to represent rooms. Smaller geometry for vents and such. Once I'm satisfied with the main layout, I go back and build the actual rooms, hallways, stairs, doors, windows, etc. This is where I'm at. Once that's done, I will block out the interior of each room, shelves, tables, desks, cabinets, chairs, etc. The map is currently white and neutral grey, but it's already my favourite map. You guys are going to love it. This one's short and sweet. A little gherkin post. That is all.
